Ambit Marketing Consultant Promotional Materials Rules

10 06 2008

Just a friendly reminder that all Consultant-created marketing materials MUST be approved by the Ambit Energy Marketing Communications Team before publication. This is particularly true in Illinois where the ICC rules for marketing to consumers are fairly specific.

Also, the use of any OTHER company’s logo is strictly prohibited - online or in any print or electronic communications.

4 Texas Retail Energy Providers File for Bankruptcy

10 06 2008

Customer enrollments are at a peak and so is our Customer Care call volume, thanks to our Illinois launch and last week’s rate changes in Texas. We were the last to raise rates in this latest round, and we raised them only slightly, so we’re about the best deal around. Combine that with the fact that four other Retail Energy Providers in Texas have lost their customers (ERCOT reverted them to the “provider of last resort”) or filed bankruptcy in the last three weeks, and Ambit Energy has been gathering customers at a furious pace.

Our operations team has dedicated a number of agents to specifically handle enrollments. Your patience is most appreciated as we handle the tremendous volume.

Ambit Energy Turns On The Natural Gas in Illinois - 866-706-2868

27 05 2008

All active Ambit Consultants may begin enrolling customers in Illinois and continue with their customer-gathering efforts in New York and Texas. All active Ambit Consultants may continue recruiting new active team members in Illinois, New York and Texas.

As you gather customers in Illinois, it is important that you follow certain “Do’s and Dont’s” when you present Ambit Energy service to your prospective customers. Before you gather your first customer, be sure to read and understand these guidelines. If you have any questions about these guidelines, contact Consultant Support immediately at 877-30-AMBIT.

In addition, you will want to prepare your new customer for two very important questions that he or she will be asked in the Third-Party Verification (TPV) process:

Did you receive or have an opportunity to read Ambit Energy’s Terms of Service Document?

By enrolling with Ambit Energy you will receive an annual savings of 1% over NICOR for the same twelve month usage period that you are a customer with Ambit Energy. Additionally, just for enrolling with Ambit Energy, you will receive a hotel travel certificate good for a two night, three day stay at a variety of participating hotels for enrolling; not to mention travel reward points that you will accumulate based on your gas usage.

Did your Consultant promise you any other incentives or guarantees for enrolling with Ambit Energy?

It is very important that your customer be able to answer YES to the first question. Log in to Power Zone and print as many copies of the Illinois Terms of Service as you need. Hand one to your new customer. Or you can clearly communicate where they can find those terms of service online. Point them to the “Important Information” page of your joinambit.com customer-gathering Web site.

It is very important that your customer be able to answer NO to the second question. You may not offer your potential customers any other incentives or guarantees than those described in this question. To do so could endanger our privilege to offer Ambit Energy services in Illinois, and subject you to disciplinary action up to or including termination as an Ambit Energy Consultant.

Ambit Energy Illinois Now Open for Distributor Enrollment - 773-410-5123

18 05 2008

If you are looking for an energy supplying company to partner with, Ambit Energy Service is the way to go. While there are some natural gas service providers still trying to open up in Illinois, Ambit is already open in Illinois for new consultant enrollment. Customer enrollment in Illinois set to begin as of Tuesday, May 27th.

Consultants are free to enroll other consultants in Illinois and anywhere else in the U.S. A consultant can also enroll customers in the states where Ambit service is available.

Because it is FREE to switch energy providers, you can feel sure that consumers WILL enroll. In addition to it being FREE to switch, the consumer will receive a free vacation gift just for enrolling, the consumer will accumulate travel reward points which can be redeemed for fabulous vacations and cruises. Most of all, the consumer can EXPECT to pay LESS for natural gas services, as lower prices is a main goal of deregulation.

There are 18 states in some process of deregulation. Ambit has a presence in 3 of those states for customer and consultant enrollment, which are Texas, New York, and Illinois.

If you are a serious entrepreneur and understand what deregulation means in the marketplace, it would be wise to go ahead and enroll with a company that has a proven track recoed of success and is on the move.

Deregulation of energy services will only happen once, will you simply watch or participate?

Ambit Energy Executive Consultant Yassar Ayub Credits Leadership, Training and Teamwork to Success

15 05 2008
As he’s walking down the busy streets of Brooklyn just after class at Brooklyn College, above the noise and bustle we can still hear the excitement in senior accounting major Yassar Ayub’s voice. He’s talking about how he heard about the Ambit Opportunity. “I was on the phone with my uncle down in Austin who was trying to send me a money order.” Yassar’s uncle doesn’t speak English, so there was a translator on the line helping with the transaction. “The translator told me about Ambit and told me to go to the New York Pre-launch website.” The resourceful translator was SC Khushi Mohammad, who had no idea that Yassar would realize such great success with Ambit. Yassar says, “I went to the website and I got excited and then I had to wait two weeks before I could register. They opened registration at midnight and I believe I was the first person in New York to sign up with Ambit.”.

During the New York Pre-launch, Yassar signed up more than 40 people, “and then I hit the jackpot!” He was the first person in New York to promote himself to Regional Consultant. At the New York Kick-Off, he was among the special guests invited to have dinner after the event with Ambit Energy Co-founders Jere Thompson and Chris Chambless. “I sat right next to Jere Thompson at dinner. He listens to what you have to say.”.

Leadership and Teamwork
“I couldn’t have made it here without great leadership and my team. [NC] Steve Thompson was up here (in New York) every week. He helped make sure the team was at all the trainings. I did a whole lot of 3-way calls with him.” Yassar also has enormous appreciation for NC Carlos Marin, NC Brian McClure, NC Philip Eckart, EC Chris Atkinson, EC Debbie Roy, EC Richard Rose and SC Justin Title for all the help they gave him as he built up his Ambit organization. You can’t reach EC level without helping others achieve success. Yassar wants to thank the Senior Consultants who helped him promote to the second highest position in Ambit: Irving Franco, Hymie Serure, Irfan Younes, Robert Braha and David Sarasky.

Yassar’s “Synergy Team” is going strong. Among the key players on his team, Yassar recognizes SC Charles Peterson, SC Darrell Holmes, SC James Celarek, SC Thomas O’Grady, RC Angela Russel, RC Mona Couey and RC Toni Brown Peterson. “Jim Celarek, my man in Illinois,” Yassar beams, “has helped build up my team to have a presence in 28 states now!” Yassar already has somewhere near 120 people on his team in Illinois.

During the phone call, as Yassar was talking about Steve Thompson’s leadership, none other than Steve himself beeped in on Yassar’s call waiting. It seems successful leaders are always leading, doing whatever it takes to keep the business growing..

Private Business Receptions (PBR)
One thing Yassar does to help himself and others build their Ambit organizations is to hold Private Business Receptions, or PBRs. “When a new person comes in, we launch the business in their house. I tell them to call their relatives and friends and we pop in the DVD. We watch it, then ask, ‘Any questions?’” Now that’s a cool idea!.

Advice for new Consultants
Yassar says he tells new Consultants the same thing Steve Thompson tells everyone, “Get excited, stay focused and never, ever quit. Put yourself into the system and let the system work for you.” Yassar says the system is, “attending the briefings, the trainings, the corporate events and using the tools, which are the websites, brochures and DVDs. You do all those things and one day you’ll be a National Consultant.”This full-time accounting student has been building his Ambit business on a part-time basis since the New York Pre-launch, but he says, “I’m going full-time in 2009 so watch out! I graduate in December. I’m going to put 600 days into this like the leaders say. Then relax the rest of my life!”

Sounds like it’s going to be a great life for Yassar.

Ambit Energy CEO - Understanding the “Energy Gold Rush”

10 05 2008

Ambit Energy is fortunate to have its current CEO, Jere Thompson, jr. leading this company to greatness.  His apparent understanding of the marketplace and future economic trends is evident.

Mr. Thompson received an AB in Economics at Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin. He sits on the boards of two schools, two hospital foundations and several civic organizations. He was Chairman and a member of the Board of the North Texas Tollway Authority for twelve years.

There is no question that the demand for electricity and natural gas over the next few years will sky rocket.   Daily we read about the ever rising price of oil.  Those prices certainly will not be coming down anytime soon.  Yet, as the price of oil is up, so is the demand.

The same could be said for electricity and natural gas.  Everyone on the planet uses natural gas and electricity, and the pay for it habitually every month.   The demand is growing at an incredible rate.

As an independent consultant with Ambit Energy, I believe that he is positioning Ambit Energy to be  a true flagship company in this industry. His leadership rises to a standard that is refreshing to see today.

After reading Mr. Thompson’s bio, and learning of his investment banking background with Goldman Sachs, and his it has helped me to better believe that I have truly found a real opportunity.   From an independent consultant’s point of view, it is a true blessing to be lead by someone who is trained to be futuristic in thought and action.  His visionary approach to building this network marketing mlm business opportunity creates a climate of total confidence that Ambit Energy will be around over the long haul.  There is no doubt that Ambit is a solid legitimate business opportunity.

Of all the business opportunities I have seen, and of all the mlm CEO’s i’ve met, it is exciting to imagine what the future holds for all us visionaries who actually go out and build a global network of marketing consultants and loyal customers.   Through Mr. Thompson’s leadership many people will, in my opinion, create independent distribution networks that will enrich the financial lives of themselves and the lives of countless numbers of families for generations.

Rationalizing Financial Failure Even In an Economic Recession

10 05 2008

It is amazing the excuses people will use to rationalize their own fear of moving forward, both financially and in life generally.  While they are eager to complain about how bad things are financially, they are just as eager to rationalize not doing anything about it.

Below is a list of the top 10 excuses people will use to keep from taking positive action to improve their financial condition.

1.  I don’t know anyone who would be interested in this - Translation:  I’m afraid to talk to my friends, they might laugh at me.

2.  I already have a good job - Translation: I’m too lazy to do anything else.

3.  I don’t have time - Translation:  I don’t know how to get started.

4.  I don’t have the money - Translation:  I really need this opportunity, but I’m afraid to “risk” the enrollment fee.

5.  I can’t sell - Translation: I would rather lose everything than even TRY something different.

6.  I tried that before and it didn’t work - Translation: I am not willing to put in the work required to make this work for me.

7.  It’s not available in my state - Translation: I am afraid of getting out of my comfort zone.

8.  Eveyone I talked to (my friends) said it was a scam - Translation: I’m more concerned about what my friends may think rather than the financial security of my family.

9.  No one is going to buy it - Translation: I’m afraid.

10.  I make enough money doing what I do now - Translation: I’m very afraid.

We’ve all heard one of or a combination of these excuses before.  They ONLY serve to satisfy the person spewing them.  It’s like the story of the dog that howled in pain because of the nail he was laying on that was poking him in the side.  He howeled, and howeled, but was too lazy to simply get up off the nail.

It’s the same with these excuse makers.  We’ve all heard them around the water cooler at work.  They complain and complain about not having enough money, but then will serve up one of these excuses to you when you attempt to show them a business opportunity that will help them to improve their financial condition.

So, the next time someone gives you one of these excuses, howl at them.  When they ask you why the heck you’re howling, send them the link to this article.
